| | | Diane Faye Schell, age 64, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at her home in Albia.
Diane was born March 8, 1947 to Albanus and Helen (Schoener) Miller in Chester, Pennsylvania. Diane graduated from high school and received her teaching degree in Pennsylvania.
Diane and Henry Schell were married on August 3, 1968 in Oaks, Pennsylvania. They were blessed with two children, Henry, Jr. and Benjamin. Henry died on September 20, 1984.
Diane was a teacher, and after Henry died, she operated the family greenhouse in Pennsylvania. After retiring she was a fulltime volunteer for 14 years as a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She attended and volunteered for the Albia Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses. Diane also loved to garden, and making arts and crafts.
Diane is survived by her two children Henry Schell, IV (Trish) of Sumter, South Carolina, and Benjamin Schell (Stacy) of Albia. She is also survived by her sister Donna Killinger of Sumter, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Henry Schell.
Memorial services will be held on 1:30 P.M., Sunday, March 20th, at the Albia Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses, with Jubal Beck officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time with the family present also Sunday at the Albia Kingdom Hall.
