| Mollie Sue Corley, age 70, of Linton, passed away at 8:24 P.M. Tues., April 10, 2012, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born March 17, 1942, in Praise, KY, the daughter of John & Betty (Bingham) Pitts.
She had worked at Tree of Life in Bloomington, at Pent Assemblies in Rome City, & in the mail room services in Brentwood, TN. She was a member of the Apostolic Bible Way Church in Linton & enjoyed playing the guitar by ear & singing. Survivors include her husband, Jason J. Corley, to whom she was very happily married on Dec. 21, 2006, five daughters, Denise Hannah of Princeton, Roberta Owsley, Velma Flores of Princeton, Jeannette Owsley, & Betty Carlton, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, & four siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, & a son, Raymond Owsley. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Wed., April 18, at Sassafras Cemetery in Linton, Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M. Tues., April 17, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
