| | | Rebecca J. Lundy, age 57, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at her residence in Linton. She was born in Sullivan on April 24, 1952, the daughter of Floyd & Lucille (Clark) Cox. She worked for Four Rivers Developmental Service in Lyons as a Qualified Medical Assistant and a CNA. She was a member of South Linton Church of God.
She is survived by three brothers, Floyd H. Cox of Baton Rouge, LA, Arthur L. Cox of Springhill, TN, & Michael J. Cox of Terre Haute, two sisters, Rosa L. Wilkie of Bloomfield & Barbara Cox, a step-son, David E. Lundy of Bloomfield, and a step-daughter, Alice M. Kenston of Brimerton, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alva E. Lundy.
Funeral Service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 30, 2009, Pastors Russell Black & Monty Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., and Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
