Vencenza Francesca Richards, age 76, of Linton, passed away at 8:00 A.M. Mon., Oct 5, 2009, at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan. She was born Aug. 29, 1933, in Foxboro, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ceasare & Irene (Jackson) DiMarzio.

She graduated from Foxboro High School in 1952 & was a Certified Nurse’s Aide in nursing homes for forty-two years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Richards of Linton, to whom she was married Sept. 1, 1952, two sons, Robert (Esther) Richards of Omaha, Nebraska & William (Peggy) Richards of Watertown, Wisconsin, two daughters, Jane (Joe) Frassrand of Lake Tapp, Washington & Debora (Richard) Morris of Linton, five brothers, John DiMarzio of Monticello, NY, Alessandro Veno DiMarzio & Roger DiMarzio, both of Foxboro, Massachusetts, Dino DiMarzio of Brookins, Oregon, & Norgio DiMarzio of Placerville, CA, four sisters, Amelia Brooks & Irene Bouchard of Foxboro, Massachusetts, Yolanda McAuliffe of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, & Camelina DiMarzio of Providence, Rhode Island, and nine grandchildren, Laura, Robin, Kilei, Christopher, Matthew, Jason, Darrell, Dereck, & Alisha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Ryan, two brothers, Guglielmo & Fermino, & a sister, Virgilia DiMarzio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Sat., Oct. 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Friends may call in Indiana at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton from 4-8 P.M. Wed., Oct. 7. Father Michael Madden will recite the Rosary at 7:30 P.M. Wed. at the funeral home in Linton. Friends may call in Massachusetts from 4-8 P.M. Fri., Oct. 9, & at 9 A.M. Sat. at Roberts Funeral Home in Foxboro prior to the mass.
