We were sick and couldn't attend the furneral, but you are in our prayers and thoughts. | From: Tom & Linda BROWN 12/07/2009 08:42 AM

Friends often come and go... Bob was always there for me. He was my most consistent, longest term friend ever... He gave and never expected anything in return...just friendship! Ham radio was a hobby that we enjoyed talking about and helping each other with. I will miss Bob.

Lynelle, Rob and Shanna,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a true gentleman and an awesome optometrist. I always enjoyed my visits and the conversations we shared. He was never at a loss for words when talking about all of you and the grandchildren. He always seemed to recall fondly that I am old enough to have been Rob's teacher and that Eric and I teach for the same district. It hasn't been a month ago that I called on a Thursday and the call was forwarded to his voicemail. He returned my call and in a manner fitting the great person he was, he went to the office, got my prescription and had a contact overnighted to me so I would not be inconvenienced. Ignoring the fact that he was inconvenienced on his day off. I am truly saddened by his loss and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. | From: Susan Sparks 12/02/2009 09:13 PM

It is with great sadness that I just learned of Bob's passing. He was a good friend as I was growing up down the street in Linton. In high school, Bob got me interested in ham radio and was responsible for helping me earn my amateur license. He was also very helpful when I began playing keyboards in a band. Bob was a gentle, talented person who I will always remember fondly.

Lynelle & Family....I was so saddened and shocked when I read of Dr. Sullivan passing. He has been my Optometrist my entire life!! He was my parents Optometrist for years and I always liked hearing his stories about them, especially since they are both deceased. I just got my husband to go to Dr. Sullivan in September because he had not been for 25 years & they had the best time meeting eachother. Dr. Sullivan teased me because Scott's vision was fine and I told him that Scott must have cheated on the eye exam. We all 3 had a big laugh that day. I'm so glad that he leaves us with such fantastic memories of, not just a great Optometrist, but also a great person. We will never have another Optometrist that will fill his shoes. We are so sorry to hear of your loss and we are thinking of you at this time. Scott, Beth, Hammer and Brilee | From: Scott & Beth (Rice) Wolfe 12/02/2009 09:02 AM
