Kathalene L. Alexander, 95, of Worthington, passed away at 9:55 P. M. Monday, January 15, 2007 at Lyons Health & Living Center, in Lyons.
She was born Sept. 11, 1911, in Greene County to William F. & Nellie (Jessup) Jones.
She was a housewife and seamstress. She was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington and the Rebecca Lodge.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Martinez, Fresno, Calif.; four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Philene Huddleston, Idaho; Arabella Hamlin, Lebanon, Ohio; several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tom S. Alexander, April 5, 1985; two brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 18, 2007, with Rev. Doug Sanders,
officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett after noon Thursday until time of service.
Burial will be in Calvertville Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Sonshine Shop Food Pantry, at the funeral home.
