Helen L. (Calvert) Burch-Russell, age 87 of Southport, formerly of Calvertville, died at 3:18 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2006, at the Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Dugger on December 29, 1918, the daughter of Leo & Mary (Tressler) Calvert. She was a 1936 Graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School. She retired in 1980 from General Electric in Linton after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Southport Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Russell, a daughter, Eleanor D. Parrish & husband Richard of Spencer, a step-son, David Russell of Noblesville, a step-daughter, Mary Jane Lisota of Noblesville, a sister, Ruth Dyer of La Quinta, California, two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and twelve step great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1st husband, Elmer Burch.
Funeral Services will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Worthington Chapel at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 30, 2006. Burial will follow at the Worthington Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
