Georgia A. Arthur, 89, of Bloomington, formerly of Worthington, passed away 8:17 A. M. Thursday, August 31, 2006, in Bloomington.
She was born July 30, 1917 in Midland to Harley & Maudie (Mundell) Funkhouser.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Worthington Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by nieces, Karen (Clisten) Wells of Bloomington; Joan (Tom) Jean, of Bloomington; Jean (Larry) Plummer, of Linton; Ruth Ann (David) Love, of Linton; nephews, Joseph (Dot) Talley of Jonesborough, TN; James (Jill) Funkhouser, of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne E. Arthur, Oct. 14, 1997; brother, James H. Funkhouser; sister, Fredia Talley; 1/2 sister, Ruby Bayer.
Service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, 2:00 P. M. Sunday, September 3, 2006, with Bro. Davy Dyer, officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett noon Sunday until time of service.
Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
