Mary E. Calvert, age 85, of Rt. 2 Worthington, passed away at 10:30 P. M. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at her residence. She was born November 22, 1919, in Worthington, the daughter of Guy & Blanche (Noel) Hamilton.
She was a homemaker, a farmer's wife, and she helped her daughter when she owned the Forget Me Not Flower Shop in Worthington. She was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Calvert, of Rt. 2 Worthington; two daughters, Susie (Larry) Murdock, of Lafayette and Carolyn (Jerry) Murdock, of Rt. 2 Worthington; four grandchildren, John Murdock, of Rt. 2 Worthington, Guy Murdock, of Austin, Texas, Ian Murdock of Indianapolis, and Heather Murdock of Zionsville; five great grandchildren; Jordan, Isaac, Regan, Keely and Nolan. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Pryor.
A funeral service will be conducted at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 11:00
A. M. Friday, May 13, 2005, with Rev. Mel Camp officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4:00 to 8:00 P. M. Thursday and 9:00 A. M. Friday until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
