Lillian Ann Armpriester, age 92, of Linton, died at 11:55 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2005, at the Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Linton on September 15, 1912, the daughter of Richard & Vina (Flake) Baker. She was a member of the Church of Christ & the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, both of Linton. She worked as a secretary for the Lockheed Representative at Crane. She had worked as a secretary for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. & the Jimmy Clayton Insurance Office, both in Linton.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn & Paul Steele of Carlisle, a step-son, Bob Armpriester of Martinsville, a step-daughter, Patricia Rusher of Greenwood, and a grandson, Kyle Steele of Camden, SC, two great-grandchildren, Hannah & Rowan Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry C. Armpriester, & three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 15, 2005, Brother Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., and after 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Friday.
