Rosemary Bledsoe, 81, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2005 at the Gosport Nursing Home.

Born March 20, 1923 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Alfred and Vivian (Woods) Norris. She was married to Paul E. Bledsoe, who passed away in 1969.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Spencer.

Survivors include: four sons, Gary Bledsoe of Boston, Mass., Paul E. Bledsoe of Indianapolis, Mark Bledsoe of Rushville, Ill., and Matthew Bledsoe of Bloomington; one daughter Vivian Walker of Ellettsville, a brother Alfred Norris of Marshall, Ill.; two sisters, Virginia Hayworth of Farmersburg and Joy Davenport of Zepher Hills, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul E. Bledsoe, a brother Raliegh Brunker, a sister Ruby Lyman and a great-great grandchild.

Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday with her son Mark Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Gosport Nursing Home through the funeral home.
