Gordon “Butch” Ball, 73, of Worthington passed away at 11:48 P. M. Monday, September 21, 2009 at Bloomington Hospital.
He was born June 12, 1936 in Greene co., Indiana to Clyde & Evelyn A. (Burkhart) Ball.
Butch was a truck driver for Bryan Wilson Trucking and was a farmer.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Larry) Swan, Cape Canaveral, Fla.; one son, Randy (Betty) Ball, Worthington; three sisters, Barbara (Jeff) Rollison, Linton; Alverta Frost; Indianapolis; Jane Jett, Plainfield; four sister-in-laws, Louise Ball, Switz City; Joan (Marvin) Litteken, Illinois; Sue (Jack) Chambers, Sullivan, Kathy (Bobby) Wolfe, Dugger; several nieces and nephews survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Christina Ruth “Chris” (Reynolds) Ball, April 23, 2007; one brother, Harold “Bud” Ball.
Graveside service 11:00 A. M. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, Stanley Cemetery, Northwest of Worthington,
