Dwight “Bud” Allen, 74, of Worthington passed away at 1:05 P. M., Monday, April 13, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 8, 1934, Waverly, Ohio, Dwight & Bertha (Lansing) Allen.
He retired from Operators Engineers Local #841, Army veteran Korean War, member of the American Legion #0479 at Lyons.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille (Ford) Allen, of Worthington, 5 children, Terressa (Charles) Sparks, Worthington; Tony Allen, Worthington; Randy (Cathie) Allen, Worthington; Linda (Jeff) Coulter, Worthington;
Kathy (Greg) Bates, Freedom; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Maria Philpott, Linton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, Isaac Allen.
Graveside service at Worthington Cemetery, 11:00 A. M. Thursday, April 16, 2009.
