Katie E. Bowersock, 88, of Wingo, KY passed away at her residence 5:45
A. M. Saturday, January 17, 2009.
She was born July 3, 1920 in Owen County.
She was a homemaker, and member of the Church of Christ Wingo, KY.
She is survived by 4 sons, George Nelson (Anita) Bowersock, Dunmor, KY, Ronald Lee (Betty) Bowersock, Hermitage, TN, Ralph William (Patty) Bowersock, Bridgeport, IL, Terry David Bowersock, Dunmor, KY; 4 daughters, Betty Louise (Delbert) Hurston-Sells, Winston-Salem, NC, Sharron Kay (Lenny) Arndell, Central City, KY, Dennice RoseAnn (Sam) Lindsay, Wingo, KY, Detra Lynn (William) Wallace, Dunmor, KY; 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lee Bowersock, 1 son, Carl Dean Bowersock, 1 daughter, Wynona Ruth Bowersock, her parents, John Nelson & Dolly Rosetta White, 3 brothers, Roy, Yocum and Isaac White.
Funeral service Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington, IN, 2 P. M. Wednesday, January 21, 2009, with Bobby Crittendon officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday and 11:00 A. M. Wednesday until time of service.
Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
