Dr. Keith M. Broshears, age 59, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in Linton. He was born in Terre Haute on December 14, 1948, the son of Dr. Kenneth & Geraldine (Macer) Broshears.
He served as a Diplomat on the American Board of Forensic Dentistry and the American Board of Forensic Examiners, was a Life Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, was a member and webmaster of the Indiana Society of Forensic Odontology, listed in the Who’s Who in the World & Who’s Who in America, member of the American Dental Association & the Indiana Dental Association, was a Captain of the U.S. Coast Guard & a Merchant Marine Officer, was a member of the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce, and was associated with the First United Methodist Church of Linton. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University, graduated from Indiana University Dental School, and became a Doctor of Dental Surgery after attending the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
He owned and operated the Linton Dental Clinic for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married Sept. 19, 1999, Ana Luisa (Lara) Broshears of Linton, his parents, Dr. Kenneth & Geraldine Broshears of Linton, two sons, Evan (Lindsey) Broshears of Bloomfield & Brian (Bobbi) Broshears of Linton, and three grandchildren, Trevor, Brandt, & Sydney.
Memorial Services will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 3, 2008, Rev. Doug Witt officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
