Evelyn I. Calvert, 84, of Worthington passed away at 5:17 P. M., Wednesday, May 07, 2008, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons.
She was born Dec. 13, 1923, in Dewitt, Ark., to Veaty W. “Shorty” & Esther (Rollison) Hawks,
She was a homemaker, and retired from Crane Naval Depot, member of Worthington Christian Church, and also a member of Tri Kappa.
She is survived by two step-daughters, Phyllis (Bud) Green, Worthington; Margie (Jim) Bianchetta, Chadds Ford, PA; 4 grandsons, Mark Green, Dennis Green, Tony Bianchetta & Michael Bianchetta; 6 great grand; 3 great great granddaughters; 1 brother, Carthal (Janice) Hawks, Tamassee, S. C.; 1 niece, Jill Merritt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Truman F. Calvert, Jan. 6, 2002, and 1 brother, Quenton Hawks.
Funeral service Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, 1:00 P. M. Monday, May 12, 2008, with Keith Bellinger, officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett after 11:00 A. M. Monday until time of service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
