Rosemary Bones, age 83, of Linton, passed away on Tues. morning, March 25, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Greene County, the daughter of Leopold & Marcella (Ginestet) Mirabel.

She was a homemaker & a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton. She was a graduate of Linton High School & Brown Business College of Terre Haute.

Survivors include a son, John Paul Bones & his wife, Terry, of Terre Haute, a daughter, Beverly Ann Winkles & her husband, Mike, of Terrell, Texas, four grandchildren, Brent Bones & his wife, Melinda, Michael Bones & his wife, April, William “Billy” Bones, & Catherine Winkles, & six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents & her husband, William C. Bones, Nov. 29, 1993, & a sister, Angel Paulette Brown, Oct. 1976.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Sat., March 29, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel, Father Hilary Vieck officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
