Ruth A. Baker-Vaughn-Hubble, age 82 of Linton, died at 9:50 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Martin County, Indiana on July 5, 1925, the daughter of Alfred “Alf” & Charlotte Cordell “Cordie” (Marfield) Beasley. She was a homemaker & a member of the Linton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hubble of Linton, three daughters, Linda Sargent, & husband, Tom, of Elnora, Toni Freeman of Worthington, & Terri Pursell, & husband, Joe, of Owensburg, one son, Tim Baker, & wife, Jayne, of Odon, step-children, Cheri Campbell of Bloomfield, Bill Hubble, and wife, Carolyn, of Bloomfield, Donald Dean Hubble, & wife, Maren, of Evansville, & Lance Siever, & wife Teresa, of Bloomfield, a sister-in-law, Marion Beasely of Odon, fourteen grandchildren, & fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Wendle Vaughn, a son, John Martin Baker, a brother, Fred Beasley, a sister, Mary June Beasley, & a son-in-law, Floyd Freeman.
Funeral Service will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2007, Reverend David Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
