Sandra Kay Byers, age 38, died at 11:00 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at her residence in Linton. She was born in Linton on June 14, 1969, the daughter of Dannie & Ethel M. (Fisher) Moon. She was a 1988 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School & worked as Supervising Cashier at Save-A-Lot Grocery Store in Linton.
Survivors include her husband whom she married Dec. 2, 1991, Russell L. Byers of Linton, her mother, Ethel M. Fink of Linton, two sons, Robert & Brandon Byers, both at home in Linton, and two sisters, Ruby Moon-Houldson & Ruth Moon-Bowersock, both of Linton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dannie Moon.
Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, Jerry Carmichael officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Chapel on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
