Karen Sue Campbell, age 30, of Switz City, passed away on Tues., Oct. 16, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 30, 1977, in Greencastle, the daughter of Jack L. & Jane Ann (Davidson) Campbell.
She worked in the quality lab at Whitestone Acquisition in Bloomington. She was a 1995 graduate of White River Valley High School & a 2000 graduate of Indiana State University.
Survivors include her parents, Marlin & Jane Ann Lux of Switz City, her maternal grandmother, Helene Davidson of Bloomfield, three brothers, Adam Campbell & his wife, Leslie, of Oaktown, Bob Campbell & his wife, Marcy, of Greencastle & Patrick Campbell & his wife, Tammy, of Fillmore, an uncle Johnny Davidson & his wife, Terri, of Bloomfield, two aunts, Janell Gurney & her husband, William, of Indianapolis & Jackie McCammon & her husband, Matt, of Bloomfield, two nephews, Evan L. & Logan Campbell, a niece, Elise Burton, & cousins, Ben & John Gurney, Jason & Nicole Davidson, & Preston & Brooke Braswell.
She was preceded by her father, Jack L. Campbell, & her papaw, Robert R. Davidson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Sat., Oct. 20, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel, Don Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, near Newberry.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Fri. & after 10 A.M. Sat.
The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the Greene County Humane Society, the Lyons United Methodist Church, or Riley Children’s Hospital through the funeral home.
