A Memorial Service that in which the body of the deceased is not present at the service. An urn with cremated remains is often used. Services can take place at the funeral home, a church, or at the graveside. Many times, a visitation for friends and family precedes the memorial service.
FUNERAL SERVICE FOLLOWED BY CREMATION:
Visitation and funeral service with the body present for viewing by friends and family. The casket used for visitation is a special cremation casket that is purchased.
