“Bug” Cason, Jr. 84, went home to be with his heavenly father, Friday, October 30, 2009. Mr. Cason was born in Virginia Beach, June 27, 1925. He was the son of the late Wilbur and Aleen Cason. Mr. Cason is survived by his wife of 63 years Jeanette White Cason. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters Wanda Borg (Steve), Debbie Wright , Anita Smith (Brian), his aunt Blanch Rercha, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. He was a member of the Knotts Island Baptist Church, the American Legion # 0113, VFW # 1211 and Knotts Island Rurtian Club.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Knotts Island Baptist Church with Pastors Scott Manns Sr. and Frank Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Knotts Island Cemetery.
In lieu of the flowers memorial donations can be made to Knotts Island Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society Twifords Funeral Home, Chesapeake is handling arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
