Everett Schock

 
Kill Devil Hills, NC

Everett Conrad Schock, 63, formerly of Kill Devil Hills, passed away at his residence in Camden, NC on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Born in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of Conrad R. Schock and Lucy Reilly Schock. He will be remembered for his appreciation of reading and his enjoyment of fishing. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army with tours in Viet Nam and was a recipient of 3 Purple Hearts.

Mr. Shock is survived by his sister, Patricia Ann Rives; his two nephews, David Hatcher and Chad Coffelt; and his three nieces, Tracy Blount, LeAnn Overton and Christy Beck. Also left to cherish his memory, are his great nieces, Kiara Blount and KaMya Blount; and his great nephews, Kalvin Blount and Christian and Matthew Overton.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Colington Road Beach Access at 12:00 on Sunday, November 1, 2009.

The family would like to thank Thomas Beacham for all of his help and support.
