Pre-planning can be as simple as writing your own obituary, or as complex as arranging every facet of the funeral ahead of time, including Scripture readings, music, clothing (which we will store at the funeral home free of charge until it is needed), printed items, pallbearers, lodge services, casket, burial vault or cremation urn, flowers, and more. You choose how much you want to do at any given time, with the knowledge that you can add more information later. We want to maintain your comfort level when you pre-plan, because we know that this is not an easy thing for anyone to do, because it represents the future death of someone we love. But by arranging at least some of the service details ahead of time, you are easing the burden of decision-making at the time of death. Does pre-planning diminish the loss? Certainly not, but it will relieve you of some difficult decisions at a most difficult time. To begin the pre-planning process via the privacy of your computer, register by clicking here. You will find a sample arrangement form for you to fill out. You may enter the appropriate information as you see fit, print the sheet out, and mail to us. Or, copy and paste the information into an e-mail message, or send it as an attachment via E-mail. Or, contact us and we can meet in person to go over the details. The information is then stored in our confidential files.
