At Traunero Funeral Home, we know that grief does not end with the funeral. That is why we are proud to offer, with every funeral we direct, our Continuing Care Series. Through this series, families are able to learn more about their grief, and how to cope with life without their special loved one. Families have told us that the Continuing Care Series has helped them immensely in the days, weeks, and months after the funeral. Contact us for more information.
Every year, Traunero Funeral Home holds a Holiday Memorial Service, in memory of all deceased community members. Families are invited to this special service, held the first weekend in December, to come and participate in our Tree of Remembrance Service. We provide, at no charge, a beautiful ornament, engraved with the deceased's name, for the family to hang on our Tree when their loved one's name is called. After a very moving Candlelight Service, everyone is invited to take their ornament home with them to hang on their tree. Reaction to this service has been nothing but positive. Holidays are an especially lonely time of year for the newly bereaved, and we feel it is part of our Commitment of Service to Families to recognize these special people.
