| | | Mary T. Ardner, age 96, of Schonhardt Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 1:35 am Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin. She was born on June 5, 1910 in Tiffin to the late William and Rosa (Michaels) Weinberger. On June 13, 1938 she married Charles R. Ardner in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died on December 15, 1999.
She is survived by a son, Charles (Linda) Ardner of Tiffin; a daughter, Charlene (Steven) Kraft of Tiffin; six grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ardner is preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Otto, and Louis Weinberger; and five sisters, Rose Feasel, Gertrude Robenalt; Grace Stover, Hilda Kelbley, and Loretta Swecker.
Mary was a graduate of Calvert High School. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and its Rosary Altar Society.
The Funeral Mass will be officiated by Rev. James K. Say at 11 am Saturday, May 19, 2007 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow immediately in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday, May 18, 2007 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Contributions may be made to Tiffin Catholic Schools in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
