| | | Amanda Kay "Mandi" Alge, age 17 years old died Monday, June 11, 2001 at 10:20 P.M. at Wyandot Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born to Bruce Alge of New Washington, Ohio and to Joan Moyer of Tiffin, Ohio. She is survived by her parents, a sister, Shannon Alge of Tiffin, a step-father, Roger Moyer of Tiffin, a step-mother Joan Alge of New Washington, maternal grandparents Paul and Shar Troxell of Tiffin, and paternal grandparents Joseph and Helen Alge of Tiffin.
Mandi Alge had completed her Junior year at Mohawk High School and was to be a Senior this fall. She had attended Tiffin City Schools through the 8th grade. She worked at McDonald's in Tiffin. She was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church, Future Farmers of America, and the Spanish Club. She played summer softball and volleyball, she was involved in Mohawk School plays and enjoyed fishing, singing, poetry art, and roller blading.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 14, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. on Friday, June 15. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. at Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Rev. John Trumble will officate. Contributions may be made to Old Trinity Episcopal Church or to the Mandi Alge Scholarship Fund at Mohawk High School.
