| | | Bonny Ellen Boner, 58, of Kiwanis Manor, 7 West Market Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 3:01 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2006 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center of Toledo. She was born September 21, 1948 in Tiffin to John and Bonnite (Wenner) Mizen, Sr. On January 12, 1974 in St. Mary’s Catholic in Tiffin she married Eugene Boner.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene; her mother, Bonnite, a son, Todd (Angie) Boner of Tiffin; a daughter, Gail (Josh) Newsome of Tiffin; 5 grandchildren; Lara, Thomas, and Kaitlyn Boner, Charitie and Joshua Newsome; 2 brothers, John (Kellee) Mizen Jr. and James Mizen both of Tiffin; 2 sisters, Linda (Jim) Shrode and Sandy (Fred) Ritter, both of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John, a sister Crystal Mizen and a grandchild Christopher Newsome.
Bonny, a 1969 of graduate of Columbian High School, was a Hospice Volunteer and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren,
crocheting, bingo, cards and collecting bees.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 (419) 447-3113. Rev. David Ross will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2006 at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Bonny Boner Memorial Fund, Community Hospice of Tiffin or to Seneca Dialysis in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
