Florence C. Benner of W. CR 592, Tiffin, OH. died, early Friday, July 7, 2006 at her residence. She was born on Nov. 8, 1924 in Chicago, IL. to Maximillian and Cecilia Lichnerowicz. In October of 1942, she married Walter F. Benner in Chicago, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include, 4 sons, Walter (Marie) Benner Jr. of Scottsville, KY; Dennis (Nancy) Benner, of Tiffin, OH; Jeffery Benner, Wayne, OH and Richard (Tracy) Benner, of Tiffin, OH; 6 daughters, Linda (Paul) DeVanna, Tiffin, OH; Rebecca (Daniel) Nedolast, of Tiffin, OH; Patti Bramel, of Bettsville, OH; Jennifer (Tom) Mowery, of Findlay, OH; Debra (Scott) Knettle, of Findlay, OH; Elizabeth (Dave) Orwig, of Findlay, OH; 29 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Joseph Lichnerowicz, of Ohio; and 1 sister, Marjorie Boswell of Washington State.

She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edward and Maximillian Lichnerowicz and 3 sisters, Irene Wieczorek, Clara Juriga, and Evelyn Pluskota.

Mrs. Benner was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, and its Rosary Altar Society. Florence was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved life to the fullest, always putting family first. Cooking, cross-stitching and garage sales were some of her favorite pastimes.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. The Funeral Mass will be officiated by Rev. Art Newiadomski at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2006 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, in Liberty Township. Burial will be immediately following the Mass in St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.

There will be a wake service at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, at the Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, in care of Traunero Funeral Home.

Mother Sweet Mother your Time has come.
