| | | Charles 'Charlie' Bistner, age 67, of Scott Street and Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin, died at 12:06 AM, Friday, January 20, 2006 in the Mercy Hospital Emergency Care Center. He was born on October 19, 1938 to the late John and Helen (Feasel) Bistner in Tiffin, Ohio
He is survived by 1 sister, Flora (Ron) Sellers of Tiffin; 2 Nephews, William and Franklin Beekman; 1 Niece, Christina Arias; 4 Great Nephews, 6 Great Nieces, 2 Great Great Nieces, and 1 Great Great Nephew. He was preceded in death by a great great nephew.
Mr. Bistner was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin; and the Knights of Columbus as an inside and outside guard, and he volunteered many hours helping at the Knights of Columbus, as well as at Autumnwood Care Center.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. There will be a wake service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:45 P.M. followed by The Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:45 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Jaunuary 25, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
Contributions may be made to Autumnwood Care Center or to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
