| | | Elva M. Wenner Barnett, age 93 years, formerly of 113 Wentz Street, Tiffin, Ohio, died on 4:32 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2004 in Ruffing family care center, Tiffin. She was born on July 3, 1911 in Tiffin, to John and Elva J. (Meyer) Martin. On April 22, 1955 she married Rex B. Barnett. He died in 1984.
Other survivors include, 2 daughters, Greta (Ralph) Kingseed of Tiffin; Kathleen (Walter) Patterson of Uniontown, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Dennis, Gary, Kevin and Mark Kingseed, Kathy Patterson, Wendy Stephens, Walter Patterson, Jr. and Amy Yoder; 4 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded by a brother, William B. Martin who died in 1960.
Mrs. Barnett attended Columbian High School. She and her husband owned and operated the Hollow Inn near McCutchenville from 1957 to 1969. She was a member of St. Jon’s United Church of Christ, and it’s Friendship Circle.
