| | | Anthony George Adams, 92 years old, of 72 Westwood Drive, Tiffin, died at 6:45 a.m. at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo on Sunday, July 16, 2000. He was born on March 29, 1908 in Cleveland to Joseph and Antoinnette (Kable) Adams. He married Lillian G. Burger. She died on February 28, 1993.
He is survived by one son, Tom (Sharon) Adams; three grandchildren, Scott, Keith, and Tim Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Dylan Adams.
He was preceded by two sisters, Ann Shiel and Eleanor Admas, and three brothers, Frank, Joe, and Tom Adams.
Mr. Adams was retired from the Accounting Department at TRW Corp. in Cleveland. He was an avid golfer and had played professional basketball for various teams. He graduated from Central High School in Cleveland.
Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery following the service at the funeral home.
