| | | Eileen R. Ardner, age 83 of 60 N. SR. 101, Tiffin, Ohio died at 1:16 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2004 in St.Vincent-Mercy Medical Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. She was born to Michael and Alphonsine (Honore) Miletti. Her mother survives in Tiffin. On November 28, 1940 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, she married Robert M. Ardner and he survives.
Also surviving are 3 sons, Michael (Rose Ann) Ardner; Thomas (Margo) Ardner; and Steven Ardner all of Tiffin; 3 daughters, Rose Ann (Dallas) Hade; Jean Marie (Robert) Flechtner; and Laura Kirchner all of Tiffin; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lawrence Miletti and Paul Miletti both of Tiffin; and 2 sisters; Joan Moore and Pat Kern both of Tiffin.
Mrs. Ardner was a 1938 Calvert High School Graduate, and a 1939 graduate of Warner Beauty College. Together with her husband, she owned and operated Wagon Wheel Antiques in Tiffin for several years.
Mrs. Ardner was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Rosary Altar Society.
Rev. David M. Ross will officiate the Mass. Burial will take place immediately following the Mass in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. There will be a parish wake service at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2004, at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass on Tuesday in the church. Contributions may be made toe the St. Mary Church restoration fund or to F.A.C.T. in care of Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113.
