| | | Opal N. Bechtel, age 92, of Tiffin, Ohio, died December 17, 2001. She was born April 13, 1909, in Tiffin, to William H. and Nettie M. (Carry) Zeiter. Her husband, Earl E. Bechtel, whom she married on November 30, 1947, died in 1969. She is survived by several cousins, and was retired from Leister Insurance Agency, where she was a secretary. She was a member of AARP, the Humane Society, and the Daughters of America. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Seneca County Homeless Coalition.
