| | | Frances J. Boehler-DiCesare, age 85, formerly of Lawndale Drive, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 11:30 am, Saturday, December 15, 2007, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born March 5, 1922, in Fostoria, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Prudence (Camporali) Brown. On August 26, 1942, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, she married Donald Boehler. He died December 13, 1974. On February 9, 1979, in Tiffin, she married Nick DiCesare, and he died August 16, 1991.
Survivors include a son, Donald J. Boehler of Marshalltown, IA; a daughter, Margaret (Tom) Stimmel of Tiffin; a step-son, Mike DiCesare; two step-daughters, Nan (Rick) Wright and LuAnn Pugh; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vincent Briani of Crofton, MD, and Lucian Brown of Salt Lake City, UT; and a sister, Mary Heilman of Philippi, WV.
She was preceded in death by a son, David R. Boehler.
Mrs. DiCesare was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the T-Squares.
Funeral Mass will be 10 am Thursday, December 20, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. David M. Ross officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, December 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. There will be a Parish Wake Service Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited in church fifteen minutes prior to the funeral.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, St. Francis Home, Alzeimers Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
