| | | Verina C. Alt, age 82, of 269 Jefferson Street, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 3:44 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at her residence. She was born to Florian and Veronica (Schalk) Hepp on August 18, 1920 in Seneca Township, Seneca County, Ohio. She married Justin A. Alt on May 2, 1942 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died on May 31, 1977.
Other survivors include, 5 sons, Michael N. Alt of Grafton, Ohio; Jerome H. (Marcia) Alt of Fremont, Ohio; Wilfred L. (Alice) Alt of Plano, Texas; Stephen M. (Susan) Alt of Tiffin, Ohio; and Father Kenneth G. Alt, CPPS of Fort Recovery, Ohio, 1 daughter, Janette A. (James) Ruffing of Findlay, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Rose Waltermeyer of Florida; Beatrice Hoffman of Florida; and Regina Siebenaller, of Arizona.
She was preceded by 1 grandson, Timothy William Alt; 1 sister, Mildred Reinhart; and 1 brother, Wilfred Hepp.
Mrs. Alt was a homemaker and had been a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
The Funeral Mass will be conducted by her son Rev. Kenneth G. Alt at St. Joseph Catholic Church. There will be a wake service at the funeral home on Friday, May 16, 2003 at 8:45 pm. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mss at the church. Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, or to the St. Joseph School Library.
