BAUSMAN, Paul F., age 86 of Dayton, passed away on April 26, 2009. He was born to the late John and Emma Bausman in Dayton, Ohio on June 7, 1922. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Edith Bausman. He is survived by his sons, Arthur Bausman, Thomas Bausman; daughter, Karen Bausman Gildow; grandchildren, Kate Bausman, Amanda Kocher, Tom Bausman Jr.; great-grandson, Sean Kocher; brothers, Edward Bausman, Marvin Bausman, Roger Bausman and sisters, Ada Astholz and Ruth Campbell. Paul had retired from the Army Reserve and also from NCR. While serving in the Army during World War II, he was a Carbine Rifle sharpshooter and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European Campaign Medal, 5 Bronze Stars, WW II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Ribbon, Reserve Ribbon and the Jubilee of Liberty Medal. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia RD. with interment in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 30. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Honor Flight, Inc. Attn: Donations, 300 E.
