| Evelyn Geneva (nee Ulvan) Wiseman passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, April 18, at the age of 91. Her husband, Arthur William Wiseman, preceded her in death in 1980. Evelyn was born in Fargo, ND in 1917 to John and Emma Ulvan, and moved to the Beavercreek area in 1946 after her marriage to Arthur in Washington, D.C. She became a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church in 1956, where she served as their first president. She sang in the Chancel Choir for many years, and was inducted into the Peace Lutheran “Hall of Servants” in 2003. Evelyn is survived by daughters Sharon Wisemyn (Parsival Herzog) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Marilynn Carson of Grand Forks, British Columbia; sons Jerry Wiseman (Anita) of Bellingham, WA and Ed Wiseman (Bonita) of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Carla Mundwiler, Tobias Carson (Katrin), Timeas Carson (Kirstin), Matthew Carson, Wendy Wiseman, Lauren Abraham (Aaron), Beth Wiseman, and Alex Wiseman; step-grandchildren Lila and Kyzyl Herzog; and great-grandchildren Leah and Zadie Abraham and Theo Carson. She is also survived by a brother Herman (Gloria) of C, and sisters Helen Jones (Richard), Cora Ulvan, and Ruth Styler (Karl). She was preceded in death by her brother Edward Ulvan, sister Ann Ulvan, and grandson Camus Carson.Visitation will be at Peace Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, followed by the funeral service at 11:00.
