| Ruddy, Jean H., age 84, of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in New York City, NY on September 12, 1924, to Floy and Bert Neff, who preceded her in death. Jean was also preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta Ruddy, brothers, Bert and Jimmy Neff, her husbands, Rene` Stievenart and Vincent W. Ruddy, Sr. and a cousin, Leroy Parker. She is survived by 9 children, Camille Baker, Jean Randolph (Ted), Kathee Kettering (Dale), Vince Ruddy (Linda), Radar Pangaean (Melissa), Anne Rayburn (Glenn), Bill Ruddy (Sherry), Bob Ruddy (Janet) and Jim Ruddy. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 45 great- grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren and a special friend, Cy Edgington. Jean and her family were one of the first members of St. Helen Parish. She held bookkeeping and office management positions at several local companies throughout her career. She enjoyed baseball, fishing, making crafts, jigsaw puzzles, bingo, and her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Deacon Ralph O’Bleness officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Monday.
