| WALKER, Irene W., age 91, a resident of Trinity Community of Beavercreek who formerly resided at 4610 Tall Oaks Dr. in Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009. She was born on July 6, 1917 in Boyd Co., Kentucky to the late Charles and Sarah (Caudill) Willis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer T. Walker; brothers, Harold, Carl, Walter, Wray, Clarence and Howard Willis; and nephews, Wray Willis Jr. and Charles Willis. She is survived by her nieces, Alice S. Willis Adkins of Columbia, South Carolina and Jill Willis Elliott of Ridgecrest, California; along with several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Irene was a graduate of Chicago Hospital Practical Nursing Program and practiced nursing during WWII. She also earned a business degree and was associated with the Nazarene church in her later years. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment in Beaver Union Cemetery, Beaver, Ohio.
