| Ankney, Donald C. age 74, of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Alice Ankney. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Ankney; daughter Cindy Ankney of Dayton; sons and daughter-in-laws Scott (Beth) Ankney of Huber Heights and Ryan (Linda) Ankney of Kettering; sister Dolores Davis of Somerset, KY; brothers Robert Lee Ankney of Houston, TX and Hugh Smith of Mission, TX; grandchildren Nicole, Brian, Shawn, Shane, Kelcey and Morgan Ankney. He was a proud University of Dayton Alumni and a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Ankeny was very active for many years in the St. John’s Lutheran Church and Choir and the Beavercreek Senior Citizen Center. Donald was an avid woodworker and craftsman. He will be greatly missed by many great friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church 141 S. Ludlow Street Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, December 22, 2006.
