| Altman, Carl Hugh, age 61 of Dayton passed away Friday, August 15, 2008 at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Loreen and Clarence Altman. He is survived by his wife, Del; brother-in-law, Pete Miller; sister-in-law, Georgia Miller; nephew, Jason Miller and his daughter Cara; niece, Kristy Powers, her husband Chris and daughter Olivia; and mother-in-law, Lucy Miller, all residing in Barbourville, Kentucky. He is also survived by his God-daughter, Pam Daley of Dayton and many other relatives and friends. Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He volunteered at the Victoria Theatre and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Rd., Kettering, OH 45440, with Pastor Matt Fleck officiating. Interment will follow in David’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 AM Tuesday. Services in care of TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL.
