| ADAMS, Garland H., age 88, of Dayton passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Garland was born on June 7, 1919 in W. Liberty, Kentucky to Thomas and Rebecca Adams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie L. (Wilcher) Adams in 1953; his brothers, Orel and Opie; his sisters, Dessie Jestice and Ivory Goodwin. He is survived by his children Tim and his wife, Donna of Dayton, Mark and his wife, Rita of Butler Township, and Janette Adams of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Janie Adams, Lora Adams, Jennifer Larue, Christen Adkins and Tiffany Adams; five great grandchildren; his sister, Ava Wallace; and his long term wife, Evelyn Adams. He served in the Army during WW II and retired from N.C.R. Garland was an avid fisherman, camper and Rock Hound. Friends may call from 5-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45429.
