| AITKEN, Bertha Federbush (nee Niesz) passed away Sunday, March 9 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 19, 1919 in Norwood, Ohio to Bertha Kleiber Niesz and George Niesz. She was married to Harry Federbush in 1937 until his death in 1959. She was also the widow of John Aitken of Centerville, Ohio. Bertha was preceded in death by four brothers; John, George, Frank and Matthew Niesz. Bertha is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Barbara and Richard Kemper, Lois and Edward Tischer, Nancy and Stephen Dean, Judy and John Clouse and step-son, step-daughter and spouses; Jim and Peg Aitken and Joan and Lou Kaesemeyer and dear sister-in-law and special friend, Anne Niesz. Bertha was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Friday at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 5 to 8 pm. Bertha will long be remembered for her warm, gentle manner, generous spirit and delightful sense of humor.
