| ALLEN, Shirley Lee, age 83 of Centerville, passed away on Tuesday, July3, 2007 at Heartland of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Orpha and Ollie Devers, sister, Delores Herrmann, brothers; Gene and Merle Devers, first husband, Royal Zwink, and son, Ron Zwink (Beth). She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Ulys “Al” Allen, son, Dennis Zwink and his wife Cathy, daughter, Lori Crockett and her husband Lynn, step-sons; Bob Allen (Edie), Frank Allen( Kathi), step-daughters; Julie Wisemann (Bob), and Beth Allen, brother, Jim Devers(Henriette), grandchildren; Karey, Robert (Antje), Daron (Cathy), Brandon, Chandra, Logan, Lance, LeAnna, Lexi, great-grandchild, Kaden, special nieces; Debbie Gullett and her husband Watson, and Diane Cooper and her husband Tim. Shirley volunteered at Centerville City Government and was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene where she was a greeter, sang in the choir, and was involved in the Women’s Missionary Society. Shirley was a very special person, a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 6, 2007 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Justice officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL at Rahn Rd on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Parkview May Scott Missionary Society in memory of Shirley. | ||
