| | | Hyde Park - Kathrine Ann Vrooman, 66, a Hyde Park resident since 1980, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at home.
Mrs. Vrooman worked at the former Kem Playing Cards in Poughkeepsie.
Born in Kingston on February 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George James and Esther Mary Zimmerman Senor.
Kathrine married Richard A. Vrooman in Poughkeepsie. He predeceased her on February 28, 1982.
Survivors include her three sons, Jeffrey Ronk and wife, Laurie, of Hyde Park, Kevin Ronk and wife, Rebecca, of Hyde Park, and Brian Vrooman and wife, Megan, of Rotterdam; five grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Smith of Phoenix, AZ, and Deborah Senor of Kingston; and one niece and one nephew.
Memorial calling hours will be from 7 to 9 pm, Friday, September 25, 2009 at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
A funeral service will take place at 8 pm during the calling hours.
Burial in the family plot will take place at the convenience of the family.
