Hyde Park – Dorothy B. Robinson, 85, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie after a long illness. Born in Marlboro, NY on May 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Halwick Baxter. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel W. Robinson and her son, Stephen. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Carol Duschinsky and husband, Armand, of Encino, CA, and Sandra Wilhelm and husband, Gerry, of Tucson, AZ. She also had two grandchildren, Leslie Soler and Jason Wilhelm , both of Tucson, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her sister, Barbara Poulter, and her family in Australia, and her cousin, Lena McGowan, of Marlboro. Dorothy was blessed with many caring friends who gave her loving support throughout her life. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Palazzo at 11 am, Monday, April 13, 2009 at Regina Coeli Church, Rte. 9, Hyde Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet’s Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
