*POUGHKEEPSIE - Mildred Will, 70, a longtime Poughkeepsie resident, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie.
She was born in Poughkeepsie on July 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Nellie Butler Burnett.
On Sept. 8, 1957 at St. Mary's Church, Poughkeepsie, she married Donald G. Will. Mr. Will survives at home.
Mrs. Will was employed by St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie for 30 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of St. Peter's Church and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Will, an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors and traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son, David Will and his wife, Mary Beth of Poughkeepsie; her son, Stephen Will and his wife, Maja of Hyde Park; her son, Christopher Will and his wife, Jackie of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; her sister, Mary Ellen Perrotta and her husband, James of Poughkeepsie; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at Sweet's Funeral Home Inc., Route 9, Hyde Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, March 6, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church of St. Peter's Parish, 185 Hudson View Dr., Poughkeepsie. Rev. James A. Garisto will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
