Hyde Park - Dora B. McQueeney, 88, a Hyde Park resident since 1977, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at home.
Ms. McQueeney worked at IBM for many years until her retirement.
Born in Barre, Mass. on October 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rebecca Vien Berwick.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Emerick of Hanford, CA, and Sue Bratten and husband, Carl, of Staatsburg; four grandsons; and three great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service was held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Hyde Park.
