Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc. was founded in 1950 by George W. Sweet (1915-1991). The family tradition was carried on by his son, G. Richard Sweet (1942-1997), and the funeral home is now in its third generation.
Our funeral home is a family owned and operated business. We are large enough to give our families the same service as the largest funeral homes around, yet we are small enough that each family gets the level of attention and care they deserve.

Funeral Director
A third generation funeral director, Rob is proud to carry on his family's tradition. Licensed since 1992, he took over the management responsibilities of the funeral home in 1997. He finds great satisfaction in helping his community.
Rob was raised in Hyde Park and educated in Hyde Park schools. He still lives in Hyde Park with his wife, Kara, and two children. | | | Mary E. Ringwood

Mary, licensed for 35 years, has been with Sweet's Funeral Home for 20 years. Mary's experience and expertise are a valuable asset to the families we serve.
Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, Mary lives in Hyde Park and is a member of St. Peter's Church. |
